Promokoduz Privacy Policy and Data Use

Learn how Promokoduz collects, uses, protects, and stores visitor data, analytics information, and cookie preferences, and how your cookie choice works.

What data is collected

The site has no sign-up, so we never ask for your name or phone number. During a visit, analytics services collect your IP address, device and browser details, the pages you open and your actions on them — including clicks and session recording (Yandex Metrica Webvisor). The site itself counts, in aggregate, how often a promo code was opened, copied and voted on.

Cookies and consent

A cookie notice appears on your first visit and your choice is stored in your browser for a year. The choice controls the consent flags sent to Google services. To be clear: analytics scripts currently load on every visit regardless of that choice. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Third-party services

The site runs on these services, and they collect data of their own: Google (Tag Manager and analytics), Yandex Metrica (with Webvisor), Vercel (hosting, Analytics and Speed Insights), Cloudflare (protection and delivery) and Supabase (the database). Their own privacy policies apply there. We do not sell your data.

Where data is stored

The site's database and servers run in data centres in India (Mumbai), and Cloudflare routes requests through its servers worldwide. Analytics data is stored on Google's and Yandex's servers.

Telegram bot

If you use the @promokoduz_app_bot bot, it stores your Telegram ID, username, first and last name, chosen language, your last 10 search queries and the last 10 promo codes you opened. The bot does not ask for a phone number, location or payment details. To stop its messages, block the bot; to have your data deleted, write to the contacts below.

Browser extension

The Promokoduz extension (for Chrome, Edge and Firefox) downloads the list of current offers from promokoduz.uz every 6 hours. The address of the open page is compared with the shop sites on that list inside your browser: the sites you visit are never sent anywhere or stored. The extension works only on the shop sites you gave it access to, and you can withdraw that access in your browser's settings at any time. Your browser keeps only the downloaded offer list and when it was downloaded, your settings (language, when to show the card, sites without the card) the day the card was last shown on each shop and where you moved its side tab there, and the offers you used in the past week with your answers on whether they worked; removing the extension deletes them too. When you copy a code or open an offer's link, the extension sends that offer's number to the site, and when you answer whether the discount worked, your answer too. The site counts a copy like a copy on the site and an answer like the Like and Dislike buttons on the site, and stores your IP address with its last part hidden, and your browser type. The extension has no analytics, no ads and no account. Some offers are partner (referral) links and codes, which the extension marks: they open only when you click them, and Promokoduz may get a bonus from the shop.
