The offer:
- Railway's official affiliate documentation says anyone who signs up from a referral link receives $20 in Railway credits
- Railway describes that as the equivalent of a free month on the Pro tier
- The link's owner earns 15% commission on the new customer's first 12 months of invoices — that is not taken out of your credit
What the plain free trial looks like:
- A one-time $5 grant that expires after 30 days or once spent
- Trial accounts get 1 GB of RAM, shared rather than dedicated vCPU, and 5 services per project
- Accounts not verified through GitHub have restricted outbound network access and only a limited set of ports
What Railway is:
- A cloud platform for backend developers: one-click deploys from GitHub
- Managed databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB
- Automatic SSL and CI/CD, billed for the resources you use
How to get it:
- Follow the link on this page
- Create an account with GitHub or email
- Check the credit landed in the billing section
- Deploy a project from a GitHub repository
Terms taken from Railway's official documentation (September 2026) and may change. Check the credit amount in your account's billing section.
