CodexUZ is a service for using OpenAI's GPT coding models through Codex CLI, VS Code and an API, with plans paid in Uzbek soums. In its referral programme the code goes in at sign-up, not at purchase. Below is where to type it and which steps remain before a plan is active.

Where the code goes

  1. Open the referral link: the sign-up page already has the “Referral code” field filled in.
  2. If you arrive without the link, type the code into that field yourself: it is optional, so it is easy to leave empty.
  3. Create an account and confirm your email through the link you are sent.

The discount applies to a first plan purchase and lasts a limited time, so do not put the purchase off after signing up. The size of the discount and its window are on the code's page.

How a plan is bought

  1. Pick a plan on the pricing page.
  2. Message the service's admin on Telegram and pay by bank transfer. Confirm the discounted amount before you transfer anything.
  3. Once the payment is confirmed you receive a one-time activation code: enter it in the console's activation code section.
  4. When the plan is active, an API key is prepared. The full key is shown only once, so save it somewhere safe straight away.

Worth knowing

  • An activation code binds to the first account that enters it, so do not pass it on.
  • Once a plan is activated, unused limit is not refunded.
  • An unused share of the weekly limit does not carry over to the next week.
